Aims and scope
Journal of Science Policy and Scientometrics aims to be a forum of analysis and debate in the field of scientific research and higher education policies and practices related to research. Papers concerned with topics that fall within the broad scope of science policy, research evaluation and scientometrics are especially welcomed. The journal will mainly publish two types of scholarly output covering the above-mentioned areas: original research articles (empirical and/or theoretical in nature) and opinion papers. Short communications, letters to the editors and occasional book reviews will also be considered for publication under the condition that they address aspects of theoretical or practical interest to the readership of the journal, mainly consisting in academics, researchers and policymakers.
Third series of JSPS call for papers
The editorial board of the Journal of Science Policy and Scientometrics welcomes contributions to the inaugural issue of the third series of the journal, due to appear in the winter of 2021. Authors are encouraged to submit their work, following the Submission guidelines, by the 15th of November 2020.
